Gene Renuart is the CEO and Founder of The Renuart Group (TRG). Renuart retired from the Air Force in 2010 after more than 39 years of service. His last military assignment was as commander of United States Northern Command, which he concurrently served as the commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, he served as Military Assistant to two Secretaries of Defense and as Director of Strategic Plans and Policy for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

The Renuart Group brings 39 years of military leadership experience and extensive expertise with USAF privatization efforts such as Pacific Air Force's (PACAF) successful housing privatization project at Hickam AFB, as well as assisting Air Force Space Command efforts at Peterson Air Force Base. General Renuart's teams were two-time winners of Air Force/MAJCOM Installation Excellence Awards — Spangdahlem AFB and Moody AFB. He also served as Project Advisor — The Guardian Centers, Perry GA — A $200 Million P3 initiative to provide a National Disaster Response Training Center for FEMA, DoD, and DoS.

Active teaming relationships with nationally renowned firms are taking place in areas of design and architecture for visitor centers, student and senior living, indoor skydiving, EUL and P3 legal issues, mission-focused office space, road to rail systems, large scale public and government construction, as well as interactive, educational displays.
